I still expect a cold front to sweep down the Front Range tomorrow followed by some low clouds and snow in the afternoon/evening, mainly in the 1-3 inch range, but with blowing snow in southeastern Wyoming and on the high plains of Colorado (including DIA). The cold front may not arrive until early afternoon for the Denver-Boulder area, so we may have temperatures in the 30s early in the day before falling into the 20s and teens.
Beginning Sunday we are entering a pattern where we can get cold surges from the north lasting about a day or two that are interspersed with much milder days. It’s hard to get the timing down on the back and forth in temperature, but right now it looks like late Sunday into early Tuesday may be one of the mild spells, perhaps with some Chinook winds in the Front Range foothills.
