A change to colder and more unsettled weather is likely during the second half of the three-day weekend, and this time it may stay around for more than a day. Until then, enjoy a very mild Friday and Saturday.
The first cool down is likely on Sunday, and may be accompanied by some rain or snow. It should be felt more in the Front Range and eastern plains than on the West Slope.
A more potent cold front on Monday is likely to turn temperatures below average across Colorado and Wyoming for the first time in a while, and bring snow with it. I’ll update tomorrow or Saturday regarding the snow amounts.
