Springlike temperatures will last into next week with temperatures in the 70s in the lower elevations Saturday and Sunday, and a little cooler but still mild early next week. We are in a pattern where there will be long dry periods, but also the chance for showers and thundershowers, especially in the afternoon/early evening.
There is a good chance for at least some rain today. The chances on Saturday and Sunday are a little smaller, but enough that you should be prepared. The chance for clouds and showers/thundershowers is likely to increase again on Monday and Tuesday.
The median date for last freeze in Denver-Boulder is right around May 6th. But that means half the time it occurs after that date. So if you get some tender annuals planted this weekend, there is a reasonably good chance they will need to be covered for a night or two before summer sets in.
